Slow Cooker Boiled Peanuts Recipe
A slow cooker makes boiled peanuts super easy to make! A warm, salty, tender boiled peanut is the perfect snack for any occasion!

- 2 lbs raw green peanuts
- 1/3 cup kosher salt
- 1/4 cup Creole seasoning
- 10-12 cups water (enough to cover)

Rinse the peanuts in cold water and place them into the crock of the slow cooker.
Add the other ingredients and stir to combine. Cover and cook on low for 20 to 24 hours.
Discard liquid and store the peanuts in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Most creole seasonings have salt in them. If you use one that doesn't, you might want to add additional salt.
You can make these spicy by adding about 1/3 cup hot sauce if desired.
